Paris, France – Olivia Williams (instagram.com/oliviawilliams4942), recent graduate of the Home Design Institute in Paris, is making waves in the interior design industry. With her unique eye for design and passion for creating beautiful spaces, she has quickly become a sought-after designer for clients both locally and abroad.
We sat down with Olivia to discuss her journey from student to successful designer, and to learn more about her approach to design and what sets her apart from others in the industry.
Can you tell us a little bit about your background and how you got started in interior design?
Olivia: I have always had a passion for design, but it wasn’t until I enrolled in the Home Design Institute in Paris that I truly realized my potential in this field. During my studies, I had the opportunity to work on my first real project for a friend, and the positive response I received was incredibly encouraging. I knew then that this was the path I wanted to pursue.
Can you describe your design style and what sets it apart from others in the industry?
Olivia: I would describe my style as timeless, elegant, and functional. I believe that every space should not only look beautiful but also meet the practical needs of the people who live and work in it. I think what sets me apart is my attention to detail and ability to listen to my clients’ needs and desires.
How have you been able to promote your business and connect with clients?
Olivia: I have found that social media, particularly Facebook and Instagram, has been a great way for me to share my work and connect with potential clients. I love to share interesting thoughts on interior design and showcase my latest projects.
What has been your biggest challenge as a designer, and how have you overcome it?
Olivia: My biggest challenge has been finding a balance between creating designs that are both beautiful and functional. I have overcome this by always taking the time to listen to my clients’ needs and considering their lifestyle and habits when creating a design.
What do you see as the biggest opportunity for growth in the industry?
Olivia: I see the biggest opportunity for growth in the industry as the increasing demand for sustainable and eco-friendly design solutions. As more and more people become conscious of their impact on the environment, I think there will be a growing demand for designers who can create spaces that are both beautiful and sustainable.
Can you tell us about one of your most recent projects?
Olivia: One of my most recent projects was a two-bedroom apartment in Paris. The clients wanted a space that was elegant and functional, and I was able to create just that. I received a lot of positive feedback from the clients and have since received several requests from friends.
What is your long-term goal as a designer?
Olivia: My long-term goal is to become one of the leading interior designers in the industry and to continue to create spaces that are both beautiful and functional. I am currently working on several projects both locally and abroad, and I am excited to see where this journey takes me.
How has this training and experience transformed your life and career?
Olivia: This training and experience has been a dream come true for me. I never thought that I would be able to turn my passion into a successful career, but I am so grateful that I have. I feel like I have finally found my calling and I am so happy to be able to share my designs with the world.
