Kendall Jenner spent Grammys night dressed up in Los Angeles, the same city where the ceremony was held. She also showed paparazzi how she does monochrome style in the winter.
Jenner was photographed wearing a burgundy bodycon minidress with matching tights and black heels, a full Bottega Veneta look. She wore her hair down and accessorized with hoop earrings and a black bag.
Jenner spoke to W in September 2022 about how she sees the fashion industry now compared to when she started. “I was 14 when I first started modeling, and 16 or 17 when I came to New York and started taking it super seriously,” she said. “A lot has happened in 10 years, and the evolution is exciting. We’re on social media more than we were five years ago—or even one year ago.”
She said social media has mostly been a positive addition to the industry. (Jenner has over 275 million followers on Instagram.) “Social media has absolutely opened up the fashion world to so many different people and ideas,” she said. “We’re always expanding into new apps and new platforms and new things. It’s bringing the audience into the whole experience and really pushing people in the fashion world to be their most creative selves and to think, What can I come up with next?”
As for her own career, Jenner admitted she is trying to balance more than just fashion now: “Modeling has been a part of my life for a really long time,” she said. “There was a time when it was my highest priority and focus. I love that I’m at a place now where I can compartmentalize different aspects of my life.”
